Pool Leak Detection in New Jersey
Find out whether you are losing water to evaporation or a leak - and where.
Losing water? Some loss to evaporation is normal, but a leak wastes water and chemicals and can damage the area around your pool. We find out where the water is going.
Many leaks are at the equipment pad or in light niches - areas we work on every day.

Evaporation or leak?
A simple bucket test compares water loss in the pool to a bucket of water on the steps. If the pool loses noticeably more, it likely has a leak.
Where leaks hide
Common leak locations include the equipment pad, skimmer throats, light niches, return fittings and underground plumbing.
Fix it before winter
Leaks in plumbing can get worse when water freezes. Finding and fixing them before closing saves money.

Pool Leak Detection FAQ
How much water loss is normal?
In NJ summer weather, losing up to about a quarter inch per day to evaporation can be normal. More than that suggests a leak.
Can you fix leaks too?
We repair equipment pad and fitting leaks directly. For major underground or structural repairs we provide a clear recommendation and estimate.
Does a leak damage my equipment?
It can. Low water levels can cause pumps to run dry and heaters to fault.
